Padilla 1948 combines a vintage blend of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Corojo and Nicaraguan Criollo long-leaf tobaccos with a thick and buttery Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper to complete another high-end Padilla blend for you to savor. Like all of Ernesto Padilla’s fantastic blends this creation is meticuously hand-rolled using extreme quality control measures and comes layered with flavor. Expect a rush of spicy, woody undertones to awaken then palate, only to be soothed by a smooth bouquet of deep, earthy nuances. A tasty, medium to full-bodied morsel. |

This line, made in Miami, is what made Padilla the hottest name in the market today. The cigars are made right here in our town, at the Little Havana District, on Eighth Strret, which we call, Calle Ocho (8 & 11 is actually the factory address, at the corner of Calle Ocho and 11th Avenue, right next to Ernesto’s La Gloria Cubana factory). If you go there you will think you’re in Cuba. And the cigars Padilla is making there, well, they are better than Cubans. |

Padilla
‘68 is yet another example of the creative blending
talents of Ernesto Padilla. Handmade in Honduras, his ‘68 employs
a choice selection of aged, premium tobaccos. In the spotlight is
the leathery Cuban-seed Corojo wrapper - which hugs a balanced mixture
of Cuban-seed long-fillers grown in Nicaragua’s prized growing regions,
Jalapa and Condega. The result is a rich, earthy smoke with cedary
notes, hints of coffee, and a sweet, earthy aroma. This medium to
full-bodied Padilla is a treat for the senses. The Padilla Series ‘68 received a well-deserved rating of ’93’ points. |
