      This is the standard Partagas line which was created under the direction of Cifuentes in Jamaica in 1974 and then moved to the Dominican Republic in 1978, bearing the famed red band. What’s not to like about this cigar? It lights easily, burns evenly and offers a perfect draw. Medium-to-full in body and featuring a Cameroon wrapper, it greets you with a rich, deep caramelized taste with bright highlights that earns your admiration right away. There’s a toasty aroma which has a hint of spice and the cigar has a medium finish that is fluid and easy. Sweet, delicious and consistent, it’s an excellent companion for any occasion thanks to its army of sizes.

     The Partagas Black is the same in namesake, and well-made in the same factory, but that is where the similarities end. Wrapped in a unique "medio tiempo" sun-grown Havana-seed leaf from the Connecticut River Valley, this is a very robust blend of Nicaraguan and Piloto Cubano ligeros. Flavors of earth, dark chocolate, and dark roasted espresso will overwhelm your senses - this is not a cigar for the timid.

     The Partagas Spanish Rosado name is derived from the wrapper that is grown exclusively for General Cigar in the San Agustin Valley in Honduras. This cigar's unique flavor starts with Honduran-shade wrapper which offers a rich, oily appearance with a dark reddish-brown color. It is followed by a spicy taste from the Connecticut broadleaf binder that wraps the fillers blended from the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Honduras, resulting in a medium to full-bodied smoke. These cigars are for the serious cigar smoker.
